The Village of Pemberton’s General Local Election takes place Saturday, October 17, 2026.

Pemberton residents will elect one Mayor, four Councillors and one School Trustee to serve a four-year term.
Saturday, October 17
8 AM – 8 PM at the Pemberton and District Community Centre.
Four opportunities to vote early
Saturday, October 3: 9 AM – 1 PM
Wednesday, October 7: 8 AM – 8 PM
Saturday, October 10: 9 AM – 1 PM
Wednesday, October 14: 8 AM – 8 PM
Your vote matters.
You may be eligible to vote if you are 18 or older on General Voting Day, a Canadian citizen, have lived in British Columbia for at least six months and are not disqualified by law.
What You’ll Need
Bring two pieces of identification that together show your identity and residence; one must include your signature. You will also make a solemn declaration that you meet the eligibility requirements.
Resident or Property Elector
You do not need to own property to vote as a resident elector. Non-resident property electors have additional eligibility and documentation requirements.
