As our community grows, the decisions we make today about housing, infrastructure, taxation, economic development, public safety and quality of life will shape Pemberton for decades to come.
I believe this is a time for experienced, collaborative and practical leadership.
I’ve had the privilege of serving Pemberton in many different ways over the years — as an elected Councillor, an Auxiliary RCMP Constable, a Search and Rescue leader, a business leader, a volunteer and a community advocate.
Each of those experiences has strengthened my belief in this community and taught me something about leadership, service and the responsibility that comes with earning people’s trust.

Pemberton has changed.
So have I.
Pemberton has been my home, my community and an important part of my life for many years.
I’ve had the privilege of serving this community in many different capacities.
In 2005, Pemberton residents elected me to serve on Village Council.
I also served for 14 years as an Auxiliary RCMP Constable, contributing to community safety and gaining firsthand experience with the importance of public service, prevention, preparedness and strong relationships between residents and the organizations that serve them.
Today, I serve as President of Pemberton District Search and Rescue and as one of its SAR Managers, working alongside an extraordinary group of volunteers who respond when people need help most.
Throughout my professional career, I’ve also had the opportunity to lead businesses and organizations, manage significant budgets and teams, serve on boards, advocate for our community and work with leaders across British Columbia.

The work ahead
Pemberton today is very different from the community I represented on Council more than twenty years ago.
We’ve grown.
Housing has become increasingly difficult to find and afford. Infrastructure is under pressure. The cost of living has increased. Our local businesses face new challenges. Wildfire, flooding and emergency preparedness have taken on greater importance. And local government is being asked to address increasingly complex issues.
I’ve changed too.
I’ve spent the years since serving on Council gaining experience that I believe can now help Pemberton navigate the opportunities and challenges ahead.
That’s why I’m running for Mayor.
I believe Pemberton needs leadership that can bring people together, make thoughtful decisions and turn good ideas into action.
Most importantly, I want to help ensure that as Pemberton grows, we protect the things that make this such a special place to call home.
My Priorities
The detailed platform will continue to develop through conversations with residents during this campaign. These principles will guide my approach.
Responsible Growth
Plan infrastructure alongside development and protect Pemberton’s character.
Community Safety
Prepare for emergencies and strengthen partnerships with emergency services.

Pemberton is worth showing up for.
Pemberton has given me many opportunities over the years — to build a career, to serve, to volunteer and to be part of an extraordinary community.
I’ve seen this community at its best.
I’ve seen neighbours helping neighbours.
I’ve seen volunteers leave their families in the middle of the night because someone needs help.
I’ve seen businesses step forward when our community needs support.
And I’ve seen what can happen when people with different perspectives sit down together and work toward a common goal.
That’s the Pemberton I believe in.
The next several years
The next several years will bring challenges, but they will also bring tremendous opportunities.
I believe we can grow responsibly.
We can address housing.
We can invest wisely in infrastructure.
We can strengthen our local economy.
We can prepare our community for emergencies.
And we can do all of this while protecting the character and sense of community that make Pemberton special.
